As an engineer, I often see startups treat SaaS workflow tools and transaction marketplaces as two entirely separate entities, which is a massive missed opportunity. When you combine them, the SaaS component handles the daily, high-frequency operations, gathering rich, contextual data that standard marketplaces could never touch. This raw operational data becomes the fuel for a powerful data network effect, allowing the platform to offer smarter matches, better pricing, and predictive insights that keep both sides of the market locked in.
